Born on December 24, 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona, Priest Douglas stands tall at 6'2" and possesses a good 223 pounds. Even on the lightning-paced environs of comedy, where humor all too often rubs shoulders with life's hard truths, one name of late has been doing the rounds—Priest Douglas. But this comic prowess is what endeared him to both audiences and celebrities. From an up-and-coming comedian to the big stage in a matter of just a few years, Priest discovered his niche in comedy when he was the new funny face of Arizona in 2014. The different touch he adds to storytelling, by mixing wit, humor, and a series of life experiences, is what made him different from early on, compared to many. He had the audience entralled from the beginning, and soon he had amassed a large following; many celebrities started to take notice.

But the push that remained was achieved right after Priest appeared as a guest in the 12th episode on a show called "Pop The Balloon Or Find Love." He became very popular during the course of this show because of his crazy antics and good sense of humor. It was during his performance on this show that Priest attracted even more fans and solidified his status as a rising powerhouse within the comedy world. Of course, it wouldn't hurt his credibility in terms of the entertainment world that he had family connections with some of the big players, like TK Kirkland and Charleston White. It was, however, truly that raw talent and sheer hard work that put him in pole position in many ways. Priest began to open for some of the biggest comedy icons, like Michael Blackson, Tommy Davidson, and DC Young Fly. All these performances honed his skills and put him in front of more and more people, making him the comedian on the rise.

Even with that success, Priest's path has not been easy. The comedy world is ultra-competitive, and trials are very numerous for Priest, moving up the ladder: from keeping the pressure from headliners off her back to personal turmoil in matters her first toxic relationship laid at her feet. It is this probably worst setback he ever took in life that sends him right on the downhill run. He enters into that dreadful part of his life where almost 42 years of his life are spent inside a prison cell due to one lie of love. He paid a very big price for this with regard to his mental state and career, having to step right away from the industry when his star was ready to rise.

But defeat was not written in the stars, for Priest. The support from his family and faith in God did help, as all the charges against Priest were at last squashed and dismissed. He said that though difficult, the experience gave new meaning and purpose to his life. He realized that his love for comedy could not be something he just walked away from even in the full face of adversity. But Priest bounced back to the stage with so much determination, using his troubled past to spread joy and words of motivation through his acts. If anything, his persistence has paid dividends, with Priest taking the shortest time to become one of the country's fastest-rising comedians.

But Priest's comeback has been nothing but inspiring. He has been a headliner himself in many shows, having shared the billing with the celebrities he once opened for, and has been featured in such leading publications as Hustle Weekly and US Times. It is his brand of comedy that blends humor together with heart-rending messages, giving his jokes huge appeal coast to coast. Priest is gunning for a continued rising star, looking to land a movie role or share the stage with other big name celebrities in the near future.

Finally, apart from his successful career in stand-up, Priest has also taken an interest in his studies. In 2022, he attended American Intercontinental University, again making his mark while majoring in Criminal Justice. He envisions graduating from the university in 2025 with a diploma, as incremental proof of his involvement in personal development and self-improvement.

Priest's story could serve as an inspiration for great perseverance and a reminder of the value of authenticity in doing one's calling. His aim is to stimulate and coax young people's drive towards their dreams, whatever amount of pain were held in line behind that dream. He gave very simple advice to people: be patient, invest in your goals, and do not let another person define your path. "Let no man pull you so low as to hate him." This is what Dr. Martin Luther King once said, and it became quite a philosophy that took Priest along through some of life's tumultuous moments and which pushed him to the present day.

The future lies in the quest for continuous laughter and good vibes that Priest Douglas brings in with every call. With such great talent and drive, coupled with fan support, no question comes to mind about the fact that Priest is on the road to success.
