The Evolution of Flipzworld: A Journey Through Beats and Resilience

Living in an era where the art of music production is forever changing, Kyle Jenkins-aka Flipzworld-is literally the only producing genius redefining what prospects the game will hold. Coming all the way from Sandusky, Ohio, now based in Cleveland, Flipzworld's journey-from a young boy with curiosity in his heart for music to a well-respected music producer-is just one of passion, hard work, and resilience.

Flipzworld began to develop this fascination with music at nine years old. His brother had a pair of turntables, and Kyle would be forever sucked in. It was an early exposure that instigated an insatiable hunger inside him, sealing the course of his life. Making beats turned from a hobby into a calling. That sense of satisfaction he found in the production of music set him down a path that he knew he was meant to follow.

That started to take a serious leap when, as a child, Flipzworld got his first drum machine-a Zoom RhythmTrak RT-223. With little formal training, he plunged headfirst into the world of beat-making, relying on instinct and an inborn understanding of rhythm and sound to guide him. Hours of experimentation with this drum machine laid the bedrock upon which the skills that would define his style were to rest.

Flipzworld began to add another passion attached to music, dance, as time went by and he was growing older. That was possible, to have a good balance that would work for full self-expression, time divided between dancing and making music. However, this love for music mushroomed even more in high school, when he resorted to beatmaking this time with a digital audio workstation FL Studio and a new sense of dedication. This marked a new era of handling his craft in a more strategic manner; he begun making beats that would appeal to both technical and emotional senses.

Flipzworld had been making beats for years; he had never planned on letting the public hear any of those beats. It was personal work at the beck and call of his inner world-self-discovery being the trip. Then, in the year 2020, everything got flipped again, even before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having time on his hands and with lockdowns happening around the world, Flipzworld decided to put more time into his music. He got an Akai MPC Live and started producing beats in standalone mode. It was the harder route, but it meant he could perfect his craft even more and have music out raw, authentic, and true to himself.

Over this time, Flipzworld developed the practice of releasing new beats monthly, placing his creations into the world. This kept him flowing with creativity and began to gain interest in this art from the larger music world. His style told a story, involved emotions on very deep levels both in his music and in the ears of those who listened, setting him apart from other producers.

This passion for music and community translated into the founding of The Beat Lounge in December 2022 by Flipzworld. It is the manifestation of his long-cherished dream: a place where he can add value to people's lives. The Beat Lounge is not just about the musicians, it's a haven for creatives in general, with music pushing everything along. This close-knit community opens its arms to new arrivals and places more importance on human relations than headcounts. People cherish others for their craft and company.

One of the most important activities from The Beat Lounge is monthly listening parties on the official Beat Lounge Twitch channel every first Saturday of each month at 7 PM EST. This provides them with ways to share work and get extended feedback both from Flipzworld and his brother, SPdoubleOG, and also from their peers within the community. The listening parties mean so much more than critiques; they are ways to make good times and learn in fun.

Flipzworld's rise in the music industry is definitely a testimony to his commitment towards work and building a very supportive community. From messing around with a drum machine during his early days to the current status of most sought-after producer, the journey is marked by relentless pursuit of excellence and deep connect with his art.
